- A Marine killed while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps
- Active duty, reserve, or veteran U.S. Navy Corpsman, Navy Chaplain or Religious Program Specialist who is or was attached to a U.S. Marine Corps unit or who was killed while serving with a U.S. Marine Corps unit*
- Minimum 2.00 GPA
- Demonstrate financial need through a family adjusted gross income of $129,000 or less for the 2024 tax year

Marine Federal Credit Union Scholarship

Category I (Financial Need)
Accredited four-year universities/colleges, two-year community colleges/technical schools — undergraduate only

• No federal tax forms (1040’s) will be accepted.
• Must provide a copy of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the Student Aid Index..
Category II (Merit)
Accredited four-year universities/colleges, two-year community colleges/technical schools – undergraduate only
• Based on academic performance without regard to financial need.
• Applicant must be enrolled full-time in, or have applied to, university or college as stated above.
Category III (Members Only)
Accredited four-year colleges/universities or two-year community colleges/technical schools
• Awarded to active and associate members who are working full time and wish to continue their education on a part time basis.
• Applicant must be enrolled before disbursement of funds are issued.

NC Criminal Justice Fellows Program
Deadline: April 30, 2026
Amount: the total value of the fellowship over two years is $6,304.00
Eligibility Requirements:
- an individual must be a North Carolina resident
- be a high school senior or a high school graduate
- intend to pursue an Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice or other Committee approved related field of study (2-year degree) at a North Carolina community college
- intend to work full-time in an eligible criminal justice profession anywhere in North Carolina for four (4) years following graduation.

Workforce Development Regional Scholarship
Deadline: March 30, 2026
Amount: eight $1,000 scholarships are available
Eligibility Requirements: Open to high school students who will be attending a community college or technical school. Applicants must be seeking a career in a skilled trade directly related to residential construction.

Amount:
- One (1) individual prize of a $10,000 scholarship.
- Two (2) individual prize of a $1,000 scholarship.
- Three (3) individual prizes, consisting of $500 scholarships each
Eligibility Requirements: The Student-View Scholarship is a unique opportunity for high school seniors.
It is open to all students regardless of academic achievement or financial need.

The SECU Foundation People Helping People Scholarship

Amount: $10,000 and payable at $1,250 per semester, for a total of eight consecutive semesters
Eligibility Requirements:
• Current senior at a North Carolina public high school
• SECU member or eligible for membership through a parent/ guardian
• North Carolina resident and eligible for in-state tuition
• Accepted to attend one of the 16 UNC system universities as a fulltime undergraduate
• Demonstrated scholastic achievement with a 2.5 or higher unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Exhibited leadership, excellence of character, integrity, and community involvement

Jacksonville Rotary Club Scholarship
Deadline: April 15, 2026
Amount: $2,000
Eligibility Requirements: Graduating seniors from Eastern NC Regional Skills Center, Jacksonville High, Lejeune High, Northside High, Onslow Early College, Onslow Virtual, Southwest High, and White Oak High, as well as Home and Private School students that live in the above school districts are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Applicants will be evaluated in three areas, each weighed equally in the selection process:
1⁄3 Financial need
1⁄3 Academic achievement – high school transcript, SAT or ACT scores, grade point average, and class rank
1⁄3 Other considerations – extracurricular activities, unusual circumstances, goals and aspirations, etc.

National Wild Turkey Federation Scholarship
Deadline: February 1, 2026
Amount: $2,000
Eligibility Requirements:
- Students should be graduating seniors with a minimum of a 3.0 on 4.0 scale or equivalent grade point average. Students must upload copies of transcripts for review. Finalist GPA and transcripts will be verified.
- Students must be pursuing a degree at an accredited institution of higher education (i.e. Junior College, Community College, Technical College, College or University).
- Students must actively participate in hunting, support the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage. A copy of current hunting license is required.
- Students must hold a current NWTF membership. If you are not a current member of NWTF, visit www.nwtf.org or call (800) THE-NWTF to join. Students can request an ID number from our membership department to include with the application for membership verification purposes.
- Students must be involved in school extracurricular activities (i.e. FFA, Ecology Club, Science Club, Beta Club, Student Council, etc.).
- Students must demonstrate leadership among his or her peers.
- Students must demonstrate community leadership and/or involvement (i.e. 4-H, civic group or club, scouting, volunteer work).
- Students must upload an essay (400-600 words) exhibiting dedication to conservation and preserving our hunting heritage. Essay must include:
- why you will be a good investment if you are awarded this conservation scholarship
- any experiences and background that demonstrate your dedication to conservation and the preservation of our hunting heritage
- why hunting is important to you and your family
- Students must upload two letters of recommendation (from teachers, counselors, community or clergy - do not include relatives)
- Students can only apply to one chapter.
- Employees and National board members of the NWTF and their family members are not eligible to participate in the program.

Pretty Girls Rock - Outreach of Hope Scholarship
Deadline: January 30, 2026
Amount: $500
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Completed application must be submitted in the year of high school graduation.
2. Official high school transcripts include a least 3.5 years (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior).
3. At least one letter of recommendation.
4. Proof of your enrollment to a 4-year Institute for 2022-2023 school year.
5. Include an essay of no more than 500 words using the explanation of what PRETTY Girls Rock stands for, explaining how YOU demonstrate being a PRETTY Girl.

- Applicant must be a resident and attend school in Camp Lejeune, Jones, and Onslow County
- Applicant must have a 2.75 GPA
- Applicant must plan to obtain a Bachelor or Associate Degree from an accredited college or university
- College/University acceptance letter(s)
- Community service and involvement are a plus
- Proof of enrollment at an accredited college or university is required before the scholarship award is disbursed

The Society of American Military Engineers Coastal Carolina Post Scholarship
Deadline: March 17, 2026
Amount: $4,000
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a high school senior, at a school in the vicinity of eastern North Carolina military installations, planning to enroll in an engineering, architectural, or a similar technical field curriculum at an accredited college or university. College enrollment must be planned for the 2026/2027 school year.
- Have a minimum of a B average (3.0 on 4.0 scale).
- Meet at least one of the following:
- Be a dependent of a Coastal Carolina Post SAME member or sustaining member.
- Be sponsored by a Coastal Carolina Post SAME member or sustaining member. Note: If you do not have a SAME Member to sponsor your application, one will be appointed for you.
- Provide a completed application form to include: a copy of high school transcript; a copy of SAT/ACT results; and an approximate 500-word essay.
- Arrange for scholarship application reference forms to be completed by high school advisors, academic instructors, or immediate work supervisors (maximum of 3) for delivery to and received by Mr. Gil Burnet no later than March 17, 2026.

North Carolina Teaching Fellows Scholarship
Deadline:
- Regular Decision Window: Apply after November 2, 2025, to receive an application update by February 21, 2026.
- Application Deadline: January 31, 2026 (application closes at midnight)
Amount: $5,000 per semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be accepted to enroll in an approved educator preparation program leading to initial licensure in an eligible area at one of the ten Teaching Fellows partner institutions. (Appalachian State, East Carolina University, Elon University, Fayetteville State University, Meredith College, NC State University, North Carolina A&T State University, UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC Charlotte, UNC Pembroke)
- A North Carolina high school senior, must currently attend a North Carolina High School; able to use award up to 8 semesters
- High school applicants or applicants with fewer than 24 hours of college credit must have a minimum unweighted high school GPA of 3.0. Applicants are encouraged to submit an SAT and/or ACT score, although that is optional.

Sponsors for Academic Talent, Inc. Scholarship
Deadline: February 2026
Amount: $750 or $1,500
Eligibility Requirements:
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA on the weighted scale (must 3.5 or higher by end of 1st semester senior year)

Scholars with a weighted GPA between 3.5 and 3.99 will continue to submit test scores. Score 1100 (composite of critical reading and mathematics scores only) on the SAT Test or ACT Composite score of 23 or higher. Waiver: Scholars with a weighted GPA of 4.0 or higher are not required to submit test scores.
- Attain a College Preparatory Diploma and meet requirements for NC Scholars Diploma.
- Complete community service hour requirement for either the $750 or $1,500 scholarship. Students cannot receive both awards.
To obtain a $750.00 Scholarship, you must:
- Perform a minimum of 75 hours of community service
- Complete 20 hours in the senior year (can start on 1st day of summer break prior to senior year)
- Perform a maximum of 35 church and school hours
- Perform a minimum of 40 hours at approved agencies
To obtain a $1,500.00 Scholarship, you must:
- Complete 20 hours in the senior year (can start on 1st day of summer break prior to senior year)
- Perform a minimum of 100 hours at approved agencies

Applying is simple. Just submit the FAFSA form. If you’re eligible, you’ll receive the Next NC Scholarship. There are no additional forms to fill out.

Award Amount: at least $3,000 for students attending community college and a minimum of $5,000 for students attending a public university in NC.
Eligibility Requirements:
To receive the Next NC Scholarship, you must be:
- A North Carolina resident who is eligible for in-state tuition (per the Residency Determination Service).
- A high school graduate (high school equivalency completers are eligible)
- Enrolled in an eligible undergraduate curriculum program
- Taking at least 6 credit hours per semester (part-time students will receive a partial award)
- A student who has completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with a resulting Student Aid Index (SAI) at or below 7,500 (once complete, the financial aid office at the college/university you plan to attend will determine and confirm eligibility)
- From a household with an annual Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $80,000 or less
- Meet Pell eligibility criteria: Is eligible to receive financial assistance under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.
- Meeting the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards of the college or university you plan to attend
- Not be in default on any State loan or grant program.
- Not exceed the semester limits for state grants, currently as follows:
- 6 semesters (FTE) for a two-year degree program
- 10 semesters (FTE) for a four-year degree program
- 12 semesters (FTE) for a five-year degree program
