Do you have this book?
Whether it's for a class or just for fun, the White Oak High School Media Center has what you need! You can search our catalog online to see if we have a specific book or browse for a new book to read.
Students are also encouraged to apply for a LEAP Pass with the Onslow County Public Library. A LEAP Pass allows students to access digital library resources, like the e-books and e-audiobooks in the North Carolina Digital Library.
Project Gutenberg is another great resource for accessing free e-books.
How many books can I check out and how long can I keep them?
Students are allowed to check out up to two books for two weeks at a time. Books can be renewed as needed. To renew a book, please stop by the Media Center to let us know that you need a renewal.
When can I come to the Media Center?
The Media Center is open 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM. Students may visit the Media Center to check out a book at any time throughout the day. To schedule use of the Media Center for an extended period of time, please contact Ms. Jordan.
