Interact Club

Interact is a service club for young people ages 12-18. Sponsored by local Rotary clubs, Interact clubs give young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self.
Interact gives you opportunities to make new friends, help your local community, collaborate with international Interact Clubs, earn scholarships, graduation stoles, and more while supporting the Interact goals that include:

• Develop leadership skills and personal integrity.
• Demonstrate helpfulness and respect for others.
• Understand the value of individual responsibility and hard work.
• Advance international understanding and goodwill.

Sponsoring Rotary clubs provide support and guidance, but Interact clubs are self-governing and self-supporting. Members are drawn from the school body and elect their own President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors, mentors, and guides Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills. Interact focuses on fighting disease, promoting peace, providing clean water, saving mothers and children, supporting education, and the growing local economies.
